Meet Berachain Projects Joining Hypernative's Ecosystem-Wide Security Umbrella

When the Berachain's mainnet went live on Feb. 6, it did so with Hypernative's protection built in. Since then, a number of key projects in the ecosystem have joined the Hypernative security umbrella, including Berakin, Infrared, and Kodiak.

The Berachain Protocol is an EVM-identical Layer 1 that has been purpose-built to drive value to the applications built on top of it, with safety at the core of that mission. Berachain tapped Hypernative to enhance the network's underlying security with ecosystem-wide monitoring that covers a broad range of attack surfaces and risk vectors including bridges, internal infrastructure smart contracts, multisig wallets, treasury and token allocations, and more.

• Berakin, a self-custody app and the home of Beranames, uses Hypernative to protect against unauthorized fund movements, broken supply or minting invariants, invalid or spoofed name registrations, misuse of whitelist minting, oracle failures, unauthorized contract interactions, and unexpected ownership or permission changes;
• Infrared, the first and largest Proof of Liquidity (PoL) staking and infrastructure protocol on Berachain, monitors for unauthorized role changes, upgrade attempts, fund recovery, vault and staking disruptions, governance manipulation, and misuse of critical admin functions across core contracts and proxies;
• Kodiak, Berachain's native liquidity hub, has set up automations for adding newly deployed pools/islands/farms to their watchlist in order to receive alerts for critical events and for pausing automatically in an emergency.
